She once introduced her first blog by saying the world wide web could do with one more blog – and she was right. For years she blogged with real passion about books, craft projects, digital art, travel and everyday life. Her creative path led from photography and Photoshop to scrapbooking and handmade cards, always with an eye for detail and for the small things that inspire.

That eye for detail is what she brings to her travel writing: the café worth a detour, the view worth getting up early for, and the practical tips that make a trip easier.

She is also the founder of Buchplaudereien, a German website about books whose motto is storytelling rather than summaries, with book conversations as text, audio and video.
