About Us
Best Travel Tale is a travel publication based in the United States, published by Best Travel Tale LLC. We publish practical travel guides – what to see, where to stay, how to get around and how to travel safely – written for people who are actually planning a trip.
A global network of travel writers
Our stories are written by freelance travel journalists and local correspondents in many parts of the world. We believe the best travel advice comes from people who know a place well: they live there, they visit often, or they have spent real time on the ground.
We are growing this network and regularly commission new writers in new destinations. Meet the people behind our guides on the Our Writers page.
What we publish
- Destination guides – the best things to do, see and eat
- Where to stay – areas, hotels and resorts worth booking
- Travel tips – planning, packing, money and safety advice
- Cruises, family holidays, luxury and active travel
How we keep our guides accurate
Every guide is edited before publication, and we update our most-read guides regularly. The date at the top of each article shows when it was last updated. Read our full editorial policy.
