Riu Hotels & Resorts plans to roll out a new premium service, Elite Club by Riu, at select Riu Palace hotels across the Caribbean.

The program will make its debut at the Riu Palace Kukulkan in Cancun, an adults-only all-inclusive resort due to open this November. 

At the Riu Palace Kukulkan, guests who upgrade to Elite Club by Riu will have access to rooms with the best views, receive personalized check-in and checkout with priority treatment and enjoy premium drink options. 

Other Elite Club perks include a welcome letter and gift upon arrival, more minibar selections, in-room aromatherapy and upgraded bathroom amenities.

Guests opting for Elite Club service can book direct or via their travel advisor. 

Riu’s plan to add a premium-service product comes as the all-inclusive sector experiences rapid growth in high-end resorts.
