Following a recent sale to Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, Noble House Hotels and Resorts has taken over operations at Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa in San Diego.
The 210-room Estancia, originally built in the 1880s as an equestrian estate, sits on 10 acres, less than a mile from the University of California, San Diego.
The grounds include 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, courtyards and gardens. The Garden Courtyard boasts more than 100 types of botanicals and is accented by Spanish-style architecture.
There are five food and beverage outlets, including Mustangs & Burros, the hotel’s signature restaurant serving Baja coastal cuisine.
Additional amenities include the 7,000 square-foot Spa Estancia with 11 indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, a eucalyptus steam room, fitness center and an outdoor saltwater pool with poolside cabanas.
The addition brings the total number of North America luxury hotels, resorts and experiences in the Noble House portfolio to 24.
In San Diego, Noble House also oversees operations at L’Auberge Del Mar, San Diego Mission Bay Resort.
Pebblebrook Hotel Trust announced its $108 million acquisition of Estancia at the beginning of December. The hotel will also be joining Curator Hotels & Resorts Collection, a collection of small brands and independent lifestyle properties founded by Pebblebrook and a half dozen hotel operators.
