Fans of all things puzzling and mysterious may have their interest peaked by an exciting new cruise on the horizon. A murder mystery cruise is set to take place this time next year.

Guests will get to visit beautiful Adriatic islands like Hvar, Korcula and Vis while on board a glamorous 38-passenger ship. While experiencing the luxurious travel around Croatia you’ll have to solve tasks and find out who is killing your fellow cabin-mates.

The murder mystery sailing will be hosted by Wilfred Webster – the cheeky chap who got to the final round of viral BBC series The Traitors. He will join Cruise Croatia for the mystery at sea to keep you entertained.

Wilfred explained to TTG: "We’ll be sailing to the beautiful islands of Korcula, Hvar and Vis, before it ends in Split. I’ll be hosting it with the captain.

"I’ll basically play the Claudia role, setting the tasks and watching it pan out from the sidelines. Some of the tasks will take place on land so it’ll be a really immersive experience. I’ll be able to spend time with everyone onboard… but be warned, I’m not going to drop any hints that will give the game away!"

Anyone who’s ever wanted to be Poirot – the famous Agatha Christie detective from Death on the Nile – will be in heaven!

Especially, as there’s even a grand prize! The longest-standing player will be rewarded with an all-expenses paid, seven-night, small-ship cruise to Greece, departing in 2025.

So you could essentially get two cruises for the cost of one. The deluxe cruise sails from Dubrovnik on August 10 2024 with prices starting from £1,455 per person.

You’ll enjoy a Captain’s dinner, walking tours of various towns, oyster tasting experiences, visits to military islands that have been decommissioned and a trip to the famous Blue Cave.

Wine tastings are also an option you can take advantage of – just don’t let the booze throw you off the scent of the murderer!

You’ll receive breakfast and a three course meal each lunchtime plus fresh fruit all day. Water, tea and biscuits are also included alongside one three-course welcome dinner and cocktail upon arrival.

The Captain’s dinner is also included and has live entertainment while Wi-Fi, cabin services, swim stops and transfers are also included in the price. Additional meals and drinks will cost extra as week as port taxes, gratuities and your flights.

The Cruise Croatia website states: "Welcome aboard the Croatia Murder Mystery Cruise, where the scenic beauty of the Adriatic coast is the backdrop to a thrilling whodunit that will keep you guessing until the very end. As you set sail from port, you’ll be surrounded by the sparkling blue waters of the Adriatic Sea and the charming architecture of the Croatian towns and cities you’ll visit on your journey.

"But beneath the tranquil surface lies a mystery waiting to be solved. The Captain onboard has been found dead, and it’s up to you to figure out who the culprits are.

"As you explore the ship and its surroundings, you’ll gather clues, interview suspects, and try to vote off fellow passengers before the killers strike again."
