Venetian and Grand Canal Shoppes are revving it up for Vegas race week

Those in town during the inaugural Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix next month will have a variety of complimentary entertainment, photo opportunities, dining specials and exclusive luxury experiences in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Resort.

A band will play from noon to 4 p.m. every day the week of the Nov. 18 race, and a new “Amore” sign, an eye-catching sculpture, will be unveiled.

There will also be exclusive and rare spirits, specially curated menus and unique iterations of the Sidecar cocktail throughout the more than 40 restaurants in the Shoppes. They include Cut by Wolfgang Puck, The X Pot, Sushisamba, Buddy V’s Ristorante by Buddy Valastro and Chica from Lorena Garcia.

Champagne “Sip & Shop” experiences will be offered at Ferragamo, Jimmy Choo, Burberry and Tory Burch, which are among the Shoppes’ 160 boutiques. Exclusive trunk shows and special collections available only during race week are planned for Bellusso, Regis Galerie, Jimmy Choo and Shinobi Menswear.

Three-night-minimum room and race packages are still available through the resort. Packages (fully prepaid, not refundable or cancellable) include three-day passes for four to the grandstands at T-Mobile Zone at Sphere at the Venetian. The passes also include food and nonalcoholic beverages at the race.

The Venetian is positioned on a turn and faces about 20% of the F1 course. Guests have easy walking access to the grandstands at T-Mobile Zone.
