Seabourn has canceled three April cruises on the Seabourn Venture so the new ship can enter dry dock to undergo repairs to its stabilizers.
The expedition ship is currently sailing its inaugural season Antarctica. Seabourn said the ship is designed to safely sail without the stabilizers, although they lessen the ship’s movement under certain sea and navigational conditions.
The line has canceled sailings that were scheduled to depart on April 7, April 16 and April 28. The ship was supposed to sail in the Amazon then to Cape Verde in Africa and Greenwich in London.
The line did not reveal where the ship would be dry-docked.
