After shepherding Seabourn through the pandemic, brand president Josh Leibowitz is leaving the luxury cruise line to pursue new opportunities, according to parent company Carnival Corp.
Taking his place effective immediately is Natalya Leahy, who has worked for Holland America Group for seven years and provided operational oversight. She will report to Gus Antorcha, president of Holland America Line.
Leahy most recently served as COO for Holland America Group, which oversees Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Australia and land operations. Before joining the cruise industry, Leahy served in leadership roles at Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola.
Leahy takes the job as Seabourn prepares to release its second expedition ship, the Seabourn Pursuit, in the fall. The line’s first expedition ship, the Seabourn Venture, entered service in 2022.
Leibowitz became Seabourn president in June 2020, leading the brand through the pandemic after Rick Meadows left the company. He is credited for overseeing the brand’s return to service, leading the brand’s expansion into the expedition cruising and playing an instrumental role in the brand’s marketing campaign to focus on active, affluent travel decision-makers.
