Pretty seaside town crowned best in Scotland – where to find the ‘great beaches’

Many Britons have decided to jet off abroad this summer for some sun, sea and sand.

However, others will choose a closer to home destination for convenience, ease and affordability.

The staycation became incredibly popular during Covid when international travel was almost non-existant.

But there is still so much fun to be had in the UK post-pandemic for those who are keen to enjoy holidays at home.

We have had bursts of lovely weather this summer and there are still a few more days until autumn begins.
