We’ve hunted high and low for the raunchiest resorts in the UK and abroad.

These five stays will have your toes curling at the thought of a dirty weekend… or longer.

    1. The Secret Dungeon – High Wycombe

This hotel is a boutique B&B… and a BDSM play-space for budding subs and their dominants.

The Secret dungeon boasts a four-poster bed, mirrored ceiling and hot tub.

Plus, all the equipment you’d find in Christian Grey’s Red Room.

It sleeps up to four people and has a throne chair, St Andrew’s Cross, padded wall, a cage, a "sin bin", hoists, leather swing, hitachi wand massager, scorpion bench and… well, you get the picture.

It also has a bathroom and kitchen for cleaning off and fuelling up.

This kinky staycation will set you back £160 for a daytime treat or between £260 to £330 for an overnight stay.

    2. Fetish Dungeon by Wings – Southwick

Rather than going to a hotel you could choose a risqué Airbnb for your dirty weekend.

This fetish dungeon is based in West Sussex and has everything a couple interested in BDSM could ever want.

The bed pulls down from the wall so that during "playtime" you have as much room as possible to use the equipment.

The main room consists of a "spanking bench with three pairs of restraints attached", a removable stripper pole, mini fridge, kettle and mugs.

There’s also a large pentagram which you can tie your lover to.

The "cage room" in the conservatory comes equipped with a sex swing as well as a two-in-one cage – the top works as a "milking table" with restraints and padded surface!

In the en-suite is a wet room with sink, toilet and shower.

The Airbnb listing claims the room is "Photoshoot, swingers and kink friendly."

In the reviews many visitors noted the space was "clean" with "plenty of toys".

A night will cost you from £100 a night on Airbnb.

    3. Hotel Pelirocco – Brighton

This hotel is less sex-dungeon and more fantasyland.

With a range of incredible themed rooms you could live out any fantasy your heart desires.

Here are a few of our cheeky faves…

The "nookii room" is perfect for naughty couples.

Think fifty shades of purple and a kinky iron bed with stocks.

The "lover’s lair" is a three-room nautical suite complete with plunge bath, stripper pole and 8ft bed with a mirrored ceiling.

The "koibito love" room is themed on a Japanese love hotel.

Such venues are dotted around Japan for couples to enjoy together for a few stolen hours of sex.

The room contained a raised bamboo bed, geisha decor, a balcony and deep bath with a cascade shower for sharing.

The lovebird package with champagne, truffles, flowers, breakfast in bed and late checkout costs £99 plus the room rate.

You can also get extra love packages, massages, raunchy boudoir photography and late checkout.

The cost of the koibito room starts from £139 while other sexy options cost from £99 a night.

    4. Desire Resort Riviera Maya – Cancun, Mexico

This stunning all-inclusive resort is the perfect location for couples and naturists.

That’s right, this resort is clothing-optional and offers some "alternative lifestyle adventures" while located in a secluded part of Cancun.

There’s a nude beach, rooftop jacuzzi and lounge.

Plus, nightly themes, including Gods and Goddesses, Masters and Mistresses, Mysterious Masquerade, Schoolgirls and Professors, Latin Fever and Angels and Deamons.

The site adds that "nasty dancing is very much appreciated and accepted."

Pole dance competitions and foam parties are often thrown for participating couples.

There’s an entire restaurant based around aphrodisiacs.

Then, there's the "sin room". This play room is a space for couples wanting to "walk on the wild side" wot adult videos, towels and play accessories.

The brochure reads: "Desire Resort Riviera Maya will create the perfect scenario for your forbidden fantasies to come alive."

Two nights at the hotel in June will cost around $1,300 (£1,062) between two; desireresorts.com

    5. Hedonism II – Jamaica

A naughty clothing-optional resort, this time based in the Caribbean.

Hedonism II takes it to the next level where you can indulge in whatever takes your fancy.

You can sleep in and stay up late, drink before noon and go skinny dipping.

Plus, explore your sexuality in their Romping Shop Playroom.

This personal play space is open to couples, single women and invited single men.

The room is open from 10.30pm to 3am and includes some kinky stools and benches, beds and more.

Again, there are sexy theme nights, including Jamaican dress, Fetish night, Bare as You Dare, Toga night and Sexy Sports night.

Group events include Some Like It Hot – a steamy event for playful, flirty guests.

There’s even the Kama Sutra Palace which lets you learn new sex positions and massages with expert guidance.

    Rates start from around $458 a night (£374); hedonism.com.
