Ready to book a holiday? With just one day to go until Black Friday, many airlines, holiday companies and cruise lines have already launched their sales.
But how can Britons find the best deals? A travel expert has shared his top tips to get the best bargains this Black Friday.
Raphael Giacardi, chief UK editor at travel deals platform HolidayPirates, has shared his best advice to find deals this year.
He said: “You need to be clear about what you’re looking to buy. Think about destinations, itineraries, travel and period. Work out what you want to book and get a feel for the prices.”
If there’s a particular hotel brand or holiday company in mind, it’s a good idea to sign up for a relevant newsletter and keep checking the website.

Many brands have already launched their Black Friday sales but some will wait until the actual day.
Raphael added: “Don’t limit yourself to the newsletters, follow the brands you’re interested in on social media. These channels are great ways to hear about the promotions and sales first.”
Raphael also advises Brits to think beyond cheap flights and holidays. He said: “Of course, we all want to score a cheap holiday or bargain flights.

“But you can find discounts on a lot more. Look for a good deal on an annual travel insurance policy.”
It’s easy to get caught up in the deal frenzy but it’s important to focus on the small print before committing.
Raphael warned: “The devil is in the details. Super discounts sometimes come with strings attached. Before you book, read the fine print. What is the cancellation policy? Are there additional fees or restrictions you may have missed at first glance?”
There might be extra fees not included in the deal, such as drinks packages or baggage fees so it’s important to look at the full picture before booking.
He added: “If it’s not right, walk away. Black Friday is big business. Can’t find anything that’s right? Pass.”
