Hotel celebrates Christmas all year including visits from Santa in the summer

Christmas obsessives who feel upset when the festive season ends are in luck.

You could celebrate your favourite time of year at any time at a hotel in Tennessee that never lets the magic end.

The Inn at Christmas Place makes dreams come true as it’s decorated for the holiday season for all 12 months of the year, reports the Mirror.

While temperatures in the US hotel’s sunny area climb to 30C degrees in summer you’ll still be surrounded by winter time cheer.

Father Christmas is available for meet-and-greets as part of a package of activities that include gingerbread making and free milk and biscuits.

There's also a huge Glockenspiel that plays Christmas carols and strikes the time hourly, as well as a 'Singing Santa' who sings – you guessed it – more Christmas carols.

Fairy lights, Christmas trees and garlands throughout the hotel add some December time magic no matter the weather.

The American hotel has 150 rooms and is Bavarian themed so it feels like a traditional Christmas experience inside.

Young guests can write a letter to Father Christmas and post it to him, and receive an email in response.

At points the main festive man himself will pop into the hotel to roast marshmallows and help at the check-in desk.

The fun continues in each room, where a large Christmas tree hangs over the beds.

However one room we're definitely putting on the bucket list is the hotel's Santa's Suite.

As well as a huge room and bed, there's a a fire roaring away in a huge hearth, Christmas decorations throughout the room, a Christmas tree, festive lights and even a couple of Santa statues and art work dotted throughout.

Thankfully, if you do get too hot in the warm weather there’s a pool, massive water slide and splash pad for some summer fun.

Rooms start from $205 (approximately £191). You can find out more and book at innatchristmasplace.com.

"Our family has enjoyed it for years. My three-year-old old grandson had his first trip here this summer.

"He was more than excited. He immediately referred to it as his castle. The staff here is exceptional and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. We look forward to many returns."

Another added: "I was surprised to find that our room had its own small Christmas tree, brass reindeer and Christmas plates for soap and washcloths.

"It is truly a Christmas paradise. The outdoor pool has an amazing slide and the pool is very large. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub."
