While a day by the British seaside is always a treat (when the weather’s playing ball), the UK also has some incredible parks.
Whether it’s a picnic spot, wildlife watching or a playground afternoon on the agenda, one of England’s parks is the perfect place to spend the day.
According to Tripadvisor reviews, the UK’s favourite park is Hyde Park situated right in the centre of London.
One of London’s eight Royal Parks, Hyde Park has a colourful history and has been popular for hundreds of years.
At Speaker’s Corner, a spot dedicated to free speech, tourists can watch anyone share their thoughts.

Karl Marx, George Orwell and Vladimir Lenin were all frequent speakers at the illustrious spot.
Hyde Park was also where the UK’s first ever LGBTQ+ Pride march started and Nelson Mandela once took to the stage there.
Nowadays, tourists can take a dip in the Serpentine, wander the peaceful Rose Garden or head to the park’s wilder area which is covered in wildflowers.
