Universal Studios Orlando will welcome a Nintendo land as part of its upcoming new theme park.
Until now, not much has been known about which franchises will be included in the fourth park, Epic Universe.
Still, the news won't come as a huge surprise to Universal fans, considering the brand is set to open Super Nintendo World at its theme park in Japan later this summer with thrilling rides, themed lands and plenty of interactive game play.
The company also announced plans to open similar Nintendo worlds in its Orlando, Hollywood and Singapore parks, although it didn't confirm which of the Orlando theme parks would play host.
According to Forbes, ComCast executives confirmed during a call that Nintendo would feature as part of the new venture.
Executives reportedly explained: "Nintendo, based on our research, is the biggest potential driver in attendance you can have in terms of intellectual properties. It's up there with Harry Potter, and in some of our parks, HP drives incremental attendance of 2 million people."
Universal and ComCast have remained tight-lipped about exactly what Epic Universe will include, although they have revealed that the 750-acre site will offer rides, attractions, an entertainment centre, hotels, shops, restaurants and plenty more surprises.
It will be the fourth theme park in the Orlando resort, joining Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure, and Universal's Volcano Bay.
Of course in the meantime, there's heaps to explore in the existing three theme parks whether you want to discover the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, take on the Incredible Hulk Coaster or brave the water rides at Volcano Bay.
