Marriott opened its first Residence Inn in Puerto Rico in San Juan’s Isla Verde neighborhood, five minutes from the international airport and steps from the beach.
The 231-suite property, designed for longer-stay business and leisure travelers, includes fully equipped kitchens, separate living and sleeping areas and large in-room workspaces.
Additional amenities include The Market, open 24 hours a day for grab-and-go options, a self-service laundry room, outdoor pool and kids water-play pool.
“As travel evolves, the longer-stay segment has increased in popularity, especially for digital nomads who blend work and travel together seamlessly,” said Brian King, president of Marriott International in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Rates start at $234 per room, per night with breakfast. A resort fee of $35 per night is additional.
