British Virgin Islands drops entry form and proof of insurance requirements: Travel Weekly

Updates to the British Virgin Islands’ Covid-19 protocols, effective June 15, include the elimination of the entry form on the BVI Gateway Travel Portal for all travelers, regardless of vaccination status.

Proof of travel insurance no longer is required.

Daytrippers — travelers who have been away from the Territory for less than 24 hours and travelers remaining in the BVI for less than 24 hours — no longer need to present a Covid test result upon arrival.

All other travelers ages 5 and older, regardless of vaccination status, must present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result taken up to 48 hours before entry.

Alternatively, a traveler who has recovered from Covid within 90 days of arrival may present a document issued by a licensed medical professional certifying recovery.

If unable to present a test result or a recovery certificate, the traveler will be tested upon arrival. If positive, the traveler is subject to quarantine until negative.

Face masks are no longer required whether indoors or outdoors, although any private business can institute its own policy on mask-wearing.
