The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney is committed to achieving environmental and social sustainability in the Harbour City. Our staff strives to continually improve the hotel’s environmental and social sustainability.
Caring for the environment
In an effort to uphold a level of environmental and social consciousness, the hotel has implemented a number of environmental management systems, which allow us to meet the requirements of the EarthCheck Company Standard. We comply with all relevant legislation and regulations and strive to achieve international best practices.
We have appointed our hotel manager as the Responsible Business coordinator, who has the responsibility of and skills for ensuring ongoing environmental performance, identifying environmental risks, recording and monitoring impacts, and implementing environmental and social sustainability measures.
Supporting our community
The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney is committed to giving special consideration to employing and empowering local employees. Wherever possible, environmentally sustainable products and services will be sourced locally.
We encourage staff to share our commitment to environmental and social sustainability and our Benchmarked/Certified status under the EarthCheck programme with our guests, suppliers, contractors, agents and wholesalers.
