Halsted’s Aviation Corp. will begin operating weekly flights between Buffalo Range Airport in Chiredzi, Zimbabwe, and Kruger Mpumalanga Airport in Mbombela, South Africa, in March. The new service will connect popular safari destinations in the two countries: Singita Malilangwe in Zimbabwe and the Singita Kruger National Park or Sabi Sand lodges in South Africa.

Scheduled departures will take place on Thursdays. Flights will actually originate at Robert Mugabe Airport in Harare, Zimbabwe, with a stop at Buffalo Range and then onto Kruger, before returning to Buffalo Range and Harare.

The Halsted flight will connect with the Federal Airlines interlodge flight between Singita’s South African lodges and KMIA, providing direct access without an additional overnight stay.

The flight utilizes two twin turboprop, eight-passenger planes, either the King Air 350 or King Air 200.
