The Seabourn Encore will resume service earlier than planned on Feb. 19, with a series of 10- and 11-day Canary Islands and Mediterranean cruises roundtrip from Lisbon. 

The ship had been scheduled to return on April 17. The Encore will become the third ship in Seabourn’s fleet to return to service.

Travel Weekly is tracking the ships that have restarted operations and the ones scheduled to return to service. 

Between February and April 2022, Canary Islands sailings will visit Santa Cruz de La Palma, Puerto de la Estaca, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, San Sebastian de la Gomera, Las Palmas, and Arrecife, plus a call at Funchal on the island of Madeira. 

The ship will reposition to Athens via a 15-day cruise from Lisbon in order to begin its originally scheduled Eastern Mediterranean summer deployment, stopping along the Atlantic coast of Portugal and visiting Barcelona; Valletta, Malta; Siracusa (Sicily) and Crotone, Italy; and Kerkira (Corfu), Sámi (Kefalonia), Thira (Santorini), and Naousa (Paros) on various islands off the coast of Greece.

The Canary Islands and Mediterranean voyages will open for booking on Oct. 5. 

Seabourn is currently operating two of the five ships in its fleet, the Seabourn Odyssey and the Seabourn Ovation. 

The cruise line pushed back the restart date of the Seabourn Quest to May 10, when the ship will resume service in Europe. It also pushed back the restart of the Seabourn Sojourn to June 6, when ship will sail from Athens.
