The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef officially opened its doors, the second property to debut in the newly redeveloped Frenchman’s Reef resort complex in St. Thomas.
The 392-room property is joined by sister resort the Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort at Frenchman’s Reef, Autograph Collection, which debuted in May.
Situated adjacent to Morningstar Beach, the Westin Beach Resort & Spa is home to five food and beverage options, including Mediterranean restaurant Luna Mar, Caribbean-Asian fusion concept Sugarfin, the cocktail-focused Edge Bar and family-friendly breakfast venue Shorebird.
Rounding out the culinary offerings is a grab-and-go eatery and coffee vendor called Frenchman’s Roast, which also sells beach gear and other sundries.
Additional amenities include the resort’s Heavenly Spa by Westin and WestinWorkout Fitness Studio as well as three oceanview pools, retail shopping outlets and 72,000 square feet of meetings and event space.

Guests at the Westin Beach Resort & Spa will also have access to the brand’s RunWestin program, through which runners can connect with an on-property Run Concierge, as well as a fleet of boats available at Frenchman’s Reef’s private dock. Chief among the vessels is the Flying Frenchman, a luxury catamaran with a maximum capacity of 125 offering daytime snorkel trips, sunset sails and other excursions.
Prior to their $425 million revamp, the two Frenchman’s Reef properties, previously known as the Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort, had been shuttered since Hurricane Irma hit in 2017.
