Super Nintendo World will open at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2023.

The highly interactive land opened at Universal Studios Japan last May. It features Nintendo’s popular Super Mario and Friends franchise.

The land is designed to feel like guests are inside a video game, complete with interactive features (for instance, punch a block to earn coins, just like in the video games).

Universal didn’t reveal an opening date, only specifying it would happen sometime in 2023. 

To promote the coming land, the Feature Presentation retail store will soon get Super Nintendo World theming. It will sell a variety of merchandise, from apparel to plush characters.

Officials have also said Super Nintendo World will come to Epic Universe, the theme park currently under construction at Universal Orlando Resort.
