Renaissance Hotels opens second Bali resort

The Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua, a sprawling hillside resort with 310 guestrooms, has opened on Bali.

The hotel says guests can expect to be immersed in traditional Balinese beauty, culture and natural wonders, from the property’s design elements to local cuisine and shopping opportunities.

Each room offers views of the island and spacious bathrooms featuring freestanding ivory bathtubs as the centerpiece.

Six restaurants highlight Bali, Indonesian and other regional cuisine. Backstage offers all-day dining and serves a variety of local and international dishes at its buffet and live stations.

Live X is a contemporary Chinese restaurant with dim sum offerings in addition to its Cantonese and Sichuan menus. Nusantara by Locavore highlights the country’s culinary heritage. A pottery atelier and cooking lab by day, Tanah Liat transforms into an arts-and-crafts inspired restaurant at night, featuring local seafood and plant-based cuisines.

Atomic 17 is the resort’s pool bar serving fresh juices, smoothies and cocktails. R Bar serves cold-brew coffee as well as cocktails.

At The Spa, guests can unwind with wellness treatments inspired by the art of Balinese healing methods or hit the 24-hour gym to keep up with fitness routines.

Four different pools will keep guests cool and in style as some feature lush greenery and man-made waterfalls. A lagoon-like jungle pool can be found at The Cove, which is available as a wedding venue with an aisle stretching over the heart of the pool.

For those looking to host events, Renaissance Bali Nua Dusa offers 12,500 square feet of event space, a grand ballroom as well as five other event rooms and seven breakout rooms.

The resort also offers Renaissance Navigator, the brand’s on-property neighborhood expert that helps guests uncover local discoveries and hidden gems.

The Renaissance Bali Nua Dusa is located about 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. For beach-goers, the resort is close to Nusa Dua Beach.

The resort is the Renaissance brand’s second on Bali. The other is the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, which opened in 2018.
