Marriott International has settled on a name for its soon-to-launch midscale extended-stay brand: StudioRes.
Marriott unveiled details on the concept earlier this year, temporarily referring to the brand as Project MidX Studios.
The company has said the brand will cater to a “budget-conscious consumer” in the U.S. and Canada with an average daily rate of around $80 per night, as well as the traveler booking longer stays of 20 nights or more.
StudioRes properties will have guestrooms with full kitchens and offer access to on-site laundry facilities, a gym and pet-friendly amenities.
StudioRes will join Residence Inn, Element by Westin, TownePlace Suites, Marriott Executive Apartments and Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy in Marriott International’s extended-stay portfolio.
