Universal Orlando Resort has shared all new exciting details about the brand new Minion Land opening this summer. Fans of the little yellow guys have been waiting with bated breath for the all new theme park zone.

Now, you can take a look inside the park’s latest immersive world and prepare to make serious mischief with the Minions in summer 2023 and beyond.

Fans of all ages will be greeted by a photo-worthy “Minion Land” marquee featuring 22 Minions when they enter the land. Meaning you can bag some top Instagram snaps straight away.

Then, get stuck into the family friendly attractions, all new food locations and Minions-style fun. One of the biggest new additions to the studio thanks to Minion Land is Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast.

The all-new attraction lets guests compete against each other in a fully interactive gaming experience that’s so much fun, it’s a crime. Afterward, guests exit through Evil Stuff – an all-new retail location where you can stock up on the top Villain-Con and Minions merchandise.

You can also meet, greet and get to know your most beloved characters from the series at the Illumination theatre. The outdoor theatre will host the Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith and Agnes, plus new additions from the hit film “Sing” – Rosita, Gunter and Johnny.

Guests can also discover murals, photo ops and more throughout Minion Land with the very same favourite characters. Little ones will love it and are sure to want to hug and pose with their favourite Minion.

On top of the attractions there’s also some fun places to munch on Minion-style food. These include sit-down venues and express style stands.

The Minion Cafe is an immersive eatery with three themed areas designed after beloved Minions Kevin, Stuart, Bob and Otto. These include: the Kitchen – where guests will get a glimpse of the equipment and gear the Minions have used to whip up the cafe’s menu; the Breakroom – where guests can dine in the Minions’ break space that includes everything from “Office Safety Tips” to a vending machine stocked with mischievous items; and the Dining Room – a vibrant space adorned with colourful artwork courtesy of the Minions.

On the menu are fun meals including eclectic “despica-bowls” such as Otto’s Noodle Bowl, Agnes’s Honeymoon Soup and Carl’s Crispy Cauliflower. Plus, sandwiches, cream puff deserts and children’s meals. Plus, at Bake My Day the minions will offer baked goods themed around the little yellow characters including cupcakes, macarons, s’mores and more, along with exclusive Minion-inspired merchandise like apparel, plush, drinkware, accessories, keychains and more.

Those who want to feel like a Minion for a day can head to Pop-a-nana and enjoy bizarre sweet and savoury popcorn mixes inspired by the Minions’ love for bananas. Or, when it’s hot grab a colourful iced lolly from Freeze Ray Pops.

Other incredible lands at Universal Studios Orlando include: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, The Lost Continent, Jurassic Park, Marvel Super Hero Island, Seuss Landing, Toon Lagoon and Port of Entry.

You can get Universal Orlando Resort 3 park explorer tickets from £24 per day at AttractionTicket s. That’s £325 for a 14 day stay. Flight to Orlando from London cost from £237pp this September, according to SkyScanner.
