Travel-loving mum uses ‘genius’ hack to unpack her suitcase in seconds

A travel-loving mum has gone viral after showing off her clever packing tips on TikTok.

Lora McLaughlin, 52, who once worked as a CBS news reporter, uses a wardrobe divider in her suitcase – and claims it makes packing and unpacking easy as pie.

The well-travelled LA mum fills the wardrobe divider with her folded clothes before collapsing it and wedging it into her cabin bag.

When she gets to her holiday accommodation all she has to do is grab the divider, unfold it and hang it up.

All of her clothes are neatly folded inside and easily accessible.

In the clip, Lora said: “This closet favourite can fit a week’s worth of clothing all into your carry-on. Just fold your outfits and place each day on a shelf.

“Now just collapse it into your luggage. When you arrive at your destination, pull it out and hang it up. You’re all done.”

The blonde beauty said the trick is her favourite travel hack – and the video quickly racked up over 120,000 likes.

Some commenters asked how non-clothing items like make up and shoes would then fit.

Lora wrote: “There’s room on both ends, the hanger is fabric and has some give. You have room for a pair of shoes and toiletry bag.”

Others praised the hack with one calling it “genius”.

Another added: “I will definitely try this one thank you for sharing.”

“This is absolutely genius and I appreciate the video,” said a third.

Some argued that the hack wouldn’t work for them as they need too much stuff – and this is certainly a hack for lighter packers!
