In some British towns, it really is a case of chill or be chilled.
For in these places, the crime rate is low and you won't find too many nightspots or hustle bustle.
And that suits some people perfectly.
The coronavirus pandemic and lockdown have certainly put a lot of things into perspective, prompting many of us to think harder about what we really want in life – whether that's where we live or go on holiday.
For many, the answer is simple: peace and quiet.
Now, a study has revealed the most tranquil towns of the UK to offer staycation inspiration, or even a more permanent move.
The team at Delamere Health, ranked 30 of the most popular towns around the UK based on the number of relaxing facilities available, with towns ranking highly for the least number of nightlife spots and incidents of crime.
North Berwick, in Scotland topped the list with a score of 57, and also in the top ten was Barnard Castle – which may have factored into Dominic Cummings’ trip, reports our sister website 2Chill.
Other Scottish towns included Melrose and Dunkeld, and down south, Kingsbridge, in Devon and Wadebridge, in Cornwall also made the list.
A spokesperson from Delamere said: "Many people across the UK have been sitting at home for months now, becoming increasingly bored every day. While some have already started planning future holidays, others have been day-dreading about destinations to relocate to across the UK.
“Getting away from the stresses of everyday life to somewhere truly relaxing can be a tonic for our mental wellbeing.
