Fans of the 1994 Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet film, Titanic, may be able to live out their sea-worthy dreams with the launch of the Titanic II.
The British luxury liner has captured minds since it sank in 1912, but over 100 years on a safer ride on the vessel may become a possibility in the next few years.
The project was announced in 2013 when Australian mining billionaire Clive Palmer's company Blue Star Line shared plans to build the ship.

While models and tests have taken place in that time, financial disputes have led to delays in the launch date.
The iconic copy of the most famous passenger ship in the world was set to launch this year, 2022, but has once again been further delayed with a new date yet to be set.
To pay tribute to the original ship, Titanic II will be sailing on the same route as the liner, which famously crashed into an iceberg during its maiden voyage between Southampton and New York City, reports the Mirror.
Of course this replica will have much more up-to-date safety features and navigation technology – although it's inspired by the infamous liner, it will boast modern day amenities and features.
However, there will be plenty of nods to Titanic itself, from the layout and interiors, with designs inspired by the iconic ship – including a near identical wooden version of the ship's grand staircase.
So you can walk down in your evening gown just like Rose in the film.
Titanic II will also have the same class categories as the original Titanic. These being First Class, Second Class and Third Class.
So you can choose whether to live in luxury or try out a cheaper ticket in a lower class.
It’s also planned that the Titanic II will have all of the restaurants and dining rooms available on the original ship.
Images supplied to the Telegraph several years ago included an old-style gym, silverware laden dining halls, an indoor pool, tiled spa room with Turkish baths and vintage lighting.
Titanic II is expected to carry approximately 2,400 passengers as well as 900 members of crew.
