This Is What a $15,000 per Night Hotel Room Looks Like

Boston has no shortage of five-star hotels. Luxury travelers have their choice of lavish quarters to stay in during their time in the city. It’s no wonder why there’s also stiff competition between luxury brands to keep their clientele loyal. In 2019, the Boston Harbor Hotel unveiled its new luxury presidential suite to compete with other high-end establishments in the city’s downtown area like the Mandarin Oriental or the Four Seasons. It has since become the most expensive hotel suite in the city, starting at $15,000 for one night. The steep price of the palatial 4,800-square-foot apartment also includes top-tier amenities and perks. Welcome to the John Adams Suite.

Upon entry, the foyer opens to the majestic high-ceilinged open-concept living room, whose centerpiece is an extravagant chandelier with over 1,200 crystals. Design firm Smith Firestone Associates crafted the light, modern décor, and color scheme featuring touches from brands like Hermes. The décor also pays homage to the city’s historical best with the silhouette of the founding father’s figure seen in different accents through the room.

The space has a bar area tended by your private butler, who does everything to make you and your guests comfortable for the duration of your stay, along with a formal dining room table set up for your meals. The suite features a master control center that allows you to set the mood for each room and set your playlist to curate the music for the evening.

The 20-foot floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the city and marina at the Rowes Wharf along the water and there’s a spacious 1,000-square-foot outdoor patio to relax or enjoy live music from a free summer show playing down below. The terrace also has an outdoor heating system, so guests can enjoy the space all year round, plus there’s a separate speaker system so you can play your own music while taking in the view.

Everything about the suite is designed to be a secluded, intimate experience from the exclusive private car and driver the provides roundtrip transfers from Logan airport to the private entrance.
