Nudist farm where you can hike, swim and eat naked dubbed ‘heaven’ by naturists

Staycations have boomed in popularity over the last couple of years due to the pandemic and subsequent travel rules applied to international trips.

Everything from British canal boat holidays to camping with your dogs has flourished in the UK tourism industry.

And, it seems that there’s a niche holiday for everyone in Britain – even those who prefer to lounge in the nude…

In fact, there’s a gorgeous award-winning naturist retreat on a bluebell farm by the Essex/ Sussex border that offers accommodation in a total of seven properties.

Pevors Farm, which features on the British Naturism website, contains five cottages and two apartment for those looking to holiday in the buff.

Facilities in the back-to-nature mini-resort include Wi-Fi, a hot tub, an indoor pool and plenty of clothes-free walks around meadows and ponds.

The Pevors Farm Cottages are run by John and Margaret Lewis who converted an 18th century barn, cart lodges, forge and granary into the beautiful holiday destination.

There’s also a games room, sun room, BBQ, and secluded sunbathing areas with hammocks on the site.

A boules court, pool table, indoor carpet bowls, table tennis and more are available to guests for no extra cost – so there’s plenty to do while you take time away from work.

All of the pretty cottages have been awarded four-star status by Visit Britain and they all have full kitchens so you can self-cater if you prefer.

And, you can eat surrounded by honey suckle, jasmine and country flowers while dining at the al fresco picnic tables.

Keen fishermen can even indulge in their hobby while staying with the Lewis’s.

Writing on their website, pevorsfarm.co.uk, Margaret and John said: “For many years we have enjoyed naturist holidays and sunbathing in our secluded garden on the farm.

“We have made so many new friends from all over Britain and abroad, and have been particularly delighted to encourage many newcomers to try their first naturist holiday here.

“They have found Pevors the ideal place to relax and enjoy naturism for the first time.”

Pevors Farm, in Halstead, Essex, retains much of the classic charm of its farmhouse beginnings and those who love to holiday clothes-free will be thrilled with the award-winning destination.

In fact, many naturists have raved about the staycation home which has a 5.0 rating on TripAdvisor.

One poster wrote: “This was our first 'naked' weekend getaway and we couldn't have wished for a more wonderful and beautiful place to spend our time.

“The farm is located in an idyllic location, where you are embraced by peace and tranquillity.

“We received a warm and friendly welcome after a horrendous seven hour journey ( bank holiday traffic ), and as soon as we settled into our warm and cosy Hayloft all worries and stresses from the day disappeared.”

While another noted that Pevors Farm was a “little piece of heaven on earth.”

They added: “It is a true delight for anyone to experience naturism in truly beautiful surroundings.”
