If you are planning a holiday now that Covid restrictions have eased, then you may want to consider Dubai.
That's because one airline is now offering a return flight there from London for just £78.
With some uncertainty remaining around travel due to the coronavirus pandemic, several airlines have been offering some great deals in an attempt to to get passengers back onto their planes.
And Wizz Air's latest deal is more noticeable than most, as it's offering flights next month in economy class return to Dubai for less than £80.
Seeing as you often can't travel from London to the rest of the UK for as little as that these days, never mind Dubai, it's a pretty amazing deal!
The trip offered would see passengers fly out from London on November 9 and first head to Budapest in Hungary where you'd have a 70-minute layover before boarding another flight to the Middle Eastern city.
It would be a bit of a long trip, with an overall duration of 19 hours and 10 minutes, however for £78, you can't complain too much.
It will also be quicker on the way back, with the return flight taking 14 hours. This would be on November 19 – giving you nine nights to explore Dubai.
There's certainly many attractions to explore, as Dubai boasts one of the highest skylines in the world. You can also have a quad bike or camel ride through the Dubai desert or go on a yacht tour in the area's marina.
The cheap flight comes as the UK scrapped its traffic light Covid travel rules this week – meaning the green and amber lists are no more.
Instead, locations are now categorised as either on the red list or not.
The previous green and amber lists have now essentially been merged.
Fully vaccinated residents – and unvaccinated under 18s – travelling from these countries can now enter the UK without needing to complete a pre-departure lateral flow test. They also won't have to take a day-eight post-arrival PCR test costing around £65, or self-isolate at home.
However, they still have to buy and complete a PCR test two days after arrival back in the UK.
Eligible fully vaccinated people travelling to England will be able to use a cheaper lateral flow test instead from later in October, but a specific date hasn't yet been revealed.
People that aren't fully vaccinated are required to take pre-departure test and a PCR test on days two and eight after they return, and must self-isolate for 10 days at home.
