Disneyland Will Allow Out-of-State Guests Beginning in June; Here's What You Need to Know

As of April 30, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure reopened to California residents, leaving Disney fans across the country eagerly awaiting their turn to head back to the theme parks. In a post on Disney Parks Blog on Wednesday, Disneyland announced that out-of-state residents will be welcome to visit once again beginning on June 15. “Out-of-state visitors may now begin booking their return to the parks on Disneyland.com,” the post read. “Until June 15, all guests visiting the Disneyland Resort must be California residents visiting in groups no larger than three households.”

Per Disneyland’s health and safety guidelines, guests will still be required to wear an approved face covering throughout the entirety of their time at the park. The state of California also strongly recommends that all Disneyland guests be fully vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test ahead of entering the parks. Before you start packing your bags, remember that health and safety procedures could change per CDC and state guidance, so be sure to keep an eye out for any updates ahead of scheduling a visit.
