Theme park food tends to be pricey – but Disneyland’s new sandwich may be one of the most expensive in the world.
The Californian attraction is launching a pricey panini that costs almost $100 (around £70).
In between slices of focaccia bread, customers will dive into salami, rosemary ham, provolone and sun-dried tomato spread.
Thankfully, the family-sized Pym-ini Sandwich sandwich is so big it’s designed for more than one person to share.
The bank-busting panini can be split between six to eight people – or you can buy a single portion for $14.99 (around £10.50).
Customers will be able to try it when Avengers Campus opens on June 4 – and it will be served in the Pym Test Kitchen.
This restaurant is inspired by Ant-Man and The Wasp so will serve dishes that are either shrunk or increased in size.
Other novelty treats will also be available in the eatery.
This includes an £8.80 Caesar Salad with Colossal Crouton or £10.99 “Not So Little” Chicken Sandwich.
Or for $22.99 (around £16.20), you can buy an Enlarged Pingo Doce Soda Can.
This XL can can be filled with Pingo Doce or Coca-Cola if you’d prefer.
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure park have begun a phased reopening.
Until June 15, 2021 only California residents may visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks in groups no larger than 3 households. Proof of residency may be required.
The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks.
Later on this year, tourists from around the world are likely to be welcomed back to the theme park too.
The Disneyland website adds: “As always, our procedures may change as we continue to update our health and safety processes based on guidance from the state of California and local health officials.
“If planning to travel, please check and follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations and any State travel advisories.
“While it may be different from the last time you visited, together we can find new ways to create magical moments—and memories to treasure.”
