Delta recently unveiled nine new routes ahead of the impending summer leisure travel boom.

Airports have recently begun seeing the highest number of travelers since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, signaling the resumption of travel. Now, many across the travel industry are predicting a strong “travel rebound” this summer as vaccine rollout continues across the US.

To accommodate this upcoming travel surge, Delta has released a new lineup of new routes that encompass a wide variety of destinations, from mountains to beaches. According to Delta, this was done in response to the “renewed optimism and growing customer confidence in upcoming travel,” a sentiment that echoes that of other travel-adjacent companies.
Besides these new routes, Delta will also be increasing its flight frequencies to several other hot travel destinations, including the Caribbeans, Nantucket, Massachusetts, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You can find the entire list of additional flight updates on Delta’s website.
New York to Bozeman, Montana
Bozeman, Montana has become a hot destination for many wealthy travelers looking for a nature getaway. Delta already offers several routes to Bozeman. But now, the airline expanding its offerings with new services from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
Flights from New York will start at a frequency of three times a week on May 7. This will be increased to daily flights on May 28.
Throughout May, Delta will also begin offering more flights to the Montana hotspot from Los Angeles, Seattle, and Detroit.
Seattle to Glacier Park, Montana
Stuck in Seattle? Starting May 29, travelers near Washington’s Seattle-Tacoma International Airport will be able to take advantage of Delta’s new weekend flights to Montana’s Glacier Park International Airport.
Similarly, Delta will begin increasing its services to Glacier Park from Los Angeles and Atlanta beginning May 28 and 29, respectively.
Detroit to Jackson Hole, Wyoming
On May 29, the airline will begin offering new Saturday flights from Michigan’s Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport to Wyoming’s Jackson Hole Airport.

Like the other travel destinations, ahead of this summer, Delta will also be increasing its services from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and Seattle to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Seattle to Fresno, California
Seattle residents will also be able to book new Saturday Delta flights to California’s Fresno Yosemite International Airport – near Sierra Nevada and Yosemite National Park – beginning May 29.
Seattle to Reno, Nevada
On May 8, Delta will be adding yet another destination from Seattle with new weekend services from the Pacific Northwest city to Nevada’s Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
Boston to Hilton Head, South Carolina
Looking to travel from Boston to Hilton Head, South Carolina? You’re in luck. On May 8, Delta will begin doing so via Saturday services from Massachusetts’ Boston Logan International Airport to South Carolina’s Hilton Head Island Airport.
Traverse City, Michigan to Boston
On May 29, Delta will offer new Saturday flights from Traverse City, Michigan’s Cherry Capital Airport to Boston. Travelers in Atlanta, New York, Minneapolis, and Detroit will also gain increased flights to Traverse City, Michigan throughout May.
Boston to Bangor, Maine
Delta has also unveiled two new flights to Maine’s Bangor International Airport. This includes daily flights from Boston beginning May 5.
Atlanta to Bangor, Maine
Not based in Boston but still interested in a trip to Maine? Daily flights from Georgia’s Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Bangor, Maine will also begin May 8.
To accompany these two new daily services, Delta will also begin offering Saturday flights to Bangor, Maine from Detroit on May 8.
