Cheapest destination to fly to in December is beautiful

The year might be nearly over but there’s still time to squeeze in a quick December city break. Although holiday prices are up on last year, that doesn’t mean there aren’t bargains to be found.

The travel experts at Omio have scoured Google Flights to find this year’s best bargain return flights from the UK. Their results are based on flights from London.

This December, Milan in Italy is the cheapest destination to fly to from London with return flights available from just £30. The cheapest prices probably won’t include baggage or seat selection so make sure to check the full terms and conditions before booking.

A spokesperson said: “Known as one of the world’s most prestigious fashion capitals, coming at the top of the list for the cheapest place to travel to in Europe this month is Milan.”

As well as shopping, tourists can admire Milan’s incredible Duomo, wander the Pinacoteca di Brera art gallery or even take a day trip to Lake Como.
