Airbnb has shared its top 10 most-liked homes on its Instagram page – and boy do they make us desperate for a holiday.
While trips abroad are on hold for now the rental platform has been inspiring us with bucket-list worthy snaps throughout the pandemic.
And, at least we can make plans for future travel…
Airbnb analysed its data from January to December 2020 to find out which 10 properties were the most liked on their social media.
Check them out below:
1. Stone Cottage, France
This gorgeous cottage in Saint Victor la Coste boasts stunning architecture, a large private pool and luscious green surroundings.
It’s the perfect location to bliss out in and as it’s in France it won’t take long to get to.
Inside the property has a large bedroom which looks straight up palatial.
A three night stay will cost from £628 and the home sleeps two.
2. The Best View of Quintay, Chile
This room is perfect if you’re looking for a long haul trip to somewhere hot.
And, talk about a view!
The property juts out over the shoreline so that the cabin offers direct views of the surrounding ocean.
Imagine sipping a coffee and staring out at the sea of the Valparaiso region.
Simply gorgeous!
A one night stay costs just £116 and sleeps two.
3. Lakeview Lodge, Guatemala
Moving up from Chile to Central America, this lodge has us feeling wanderlust.
Look at that view!
This snap shows off the incredible waters of Lake Atitlan and its nearby volcano.
The home boasts floor-to-ceiling window so you never have to stop looking at your spectacular surroundings.
Breathtaking!
Two night stays start from £115 and the lodge sleeps two.
4. Tanglebloom Cabin, USA
Hidden away in the Vermont forest, this glamping stay is set on a flower farm and has anything you need to snooze under the stars.
There’s all the basics for a good night’s sleep including a covered porch.
Tanglebloom sleeps two but is not available to rent at the moment.
5. Casa Mama, USA
Based in California’s Pioneertown, this classy pueblo-style home offers a luxury stay in the desert.
The stylish interiors are minimalist with lots of comfy furniture and a woodturner for cold nights.
Just imagine the sunsets!
A two night stay costs from £675 and sleeps four.
6. 19th Century Schoolhouse, USA
This ex-schoolhouse is based in Kingston, New York and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The large kitchen with a double oven is perfect for those who prefer self-catering holidays.
There are still some remaining original features including vintage furnishings and wooden floors.
Two nights cost from £997 and the home sleeps six.
7. Dreamy A-Frame, USA
Based in Pond Eddy, in upstate New York, this location is tucked in the woods by the Delaware river.
It’s perfect for anyone who wants to slip away to somewhere remote for a while.
The property has two bedrooms, a porch and a full kitchen.

A three night stay starts from £1160 and sleeps four.
8. Window to the Duomo, Italy
If you’ve never been to Florence, then we really recommend you try and stay at least once.
And, if you do, then this beautiful studio will maximise your experience as you can open the windows and enjoy a direct view of the Cathedral (Duomo).
The pretty studio is right in the middle of the city and is great for single travellers.
Prices start from £123 a night an the studio sleeps one.
9. Idyll Haus, USA
The San Jacinto Mountains in the Riverside County of California provide epic scenery for this impressive stay.
You can even take in the snowy forest views while basking in the enormous bathtub.
The 1962 chalet is hidden within the forest so will be peaceful and quiet.
Two night stays cost from £640 and sleeps four.
10. Floating House, Brazil
This Airbnb blows our minds – check it out at the top of the page.
If you want total serenity and to go off the grid then this floating house set on a lake is the perfect stay for you.
Land is just a short boat ride away and you’re surrounded by breathtaking views of the Mantiquiera Mountain.
Two night stays cost from £437 and the floating house sleeps two.
