British Airways has released thousands of flights for less than £50 each way

British Airways is giving holidaymakers the ideal excuse to book a getaway in 2019 with a host of new deals.

In fact, the airline has slashed the price of 50,000 seats with fares each way going for £50 or less!

That includes heaps of various short-haul routes to the likes of Paris, Ibiza, Amsterdam and Geneva, for seats in its Euro Traveller cabin.

There's quite a generous window of travel dates too with the deals valid on routes throughout August, September and October.

Oh, and they all include 23kg hand luggage allowance, as well as free seat selection within 24 hours of your departure.

You can already book the discounted seats on the British Airways website but it's worth noting that the cheap fares are subject to the 50,000 availability; once they're gone, that's it.

With so much choice it can be a little overwhelming, so the airline has offered a helping hand and flagged the kind of deals you can expect below.

  • Amsterdam from £39 each way (based on a Heathrow or Gatwick departure)
  • Nice from £39 each way (based on a Gatwick departure)
  • Palma from £45 each way (based on a Gatwick departure)
  • Ibiza from £46 each way (based on a Heathrow departure)
  • Bologna from £47 each way (based on a Heathrow departure)
  • Paris from £50 each way (based on a Heathrow departure)
  • Geneva from £50 each way (based on a Heathrow departure)

If you're signed up the Avios scheme, you can use these points in part payment on a range of destinations and cabins.
