The Hilton Waikoloa Village, located on the Big Island of Hawaii, has reopened its largest pool, the Kona Pool, following a refresh of the pool complex.
The family-friendly pool is known for its waterslides, rope bridge and sand-bottom kids’ pool. The renovation included resurfacing slides and adding oceanfront cabanas, hot tubs, rock formations and new landscaping. Shaka Cones also moved into the area and will serve desserts like Dave’s Ice Cream.
In addition to the reimagined pool, the resort added an “aloha” sign that will welcome guests when they arrive to the property. “The aloha sign stands 8 feet tall along the driveway leading up to the port cochere of the hotel,” according to a resort press release. “The Hilton Waikoloa Village landscaping team also beautified this area, creating a memorable photo opportunity for visiting guests.”
