Frenchman's Reef adding a variety of offshore activities

Frenchman’s Reef in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands has teamed with RED Hospitality & Leisure to offer excursions on eight vessels for day and night trips as well as assorted watersports activities.

Both are available at the newly opened Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort at Frenchman’s Reef, an Autograph Collection property, and will be available at the Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef when that property debuts later this summer.

The available ships are two 37-foot Axopar luxury private charter boat;, a 38-foot center-console Boston Whaler 370; two 40-foot VanDutch 40 luxury private charter boats; a 41-foot rigid inflatable boat; a 57-foot ferry and excursion vessel; and the Flying Frenchman, a custom, 65-foot catamaran that fits up to 125 passengers and comes equipped with a galley for food service and an air-conditioned cabin, among other amenities.

The fleet of vessels will be utilized for such activities as off-site snorkeling, fishing, private-charter pleasure cruises, sunset sails, ecotours, shopping and dining excursions across the surrounding islands, and more. RED Hospitality will operate the fleet.

Frenchman’s Reef will also offer nonmotorized water sports at its private dock and adventure beach alongside the Westin Beach Resort & Spa. Guests of both resorts will have access to a fleet of Hobie Cats and kayaks, an AquaBanas lounger and 200 sets of snorkel gear.
