St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has announced the highly anticipated opening of The St. Regis Hong Kong, marking the debut of the iconic luxury brand in the destination. Founded more than a century ago by John Jacob Astor IV with the opening of The St. Regis New York, St. Regis has since become a symbol of uncompromising refinement and bespoke service. As the ultra-luxurious global brand expands its portfolio of hotels, The St. Regis Hong Kong brings its legacy of butler service and signature rituals to the city.
The St. Regis Hong Kong is a jewel of architectural creativity, a curated mansion that celebrates cultural diversity and timeless elegance in Hong Kong as seen through the masterful eye of renowned interior designer André Fu, combining classic elements with modern sophistication. Signature design elements throughout the luxurious and inviting spaces incorporate artisanal details as an homage to the rich culture of the city. With 20 years of experience, Elzer is highly regarded as one of the top French chefs in Hong Kong, acclaimed with a combined 24 Michelin stars to his experience. Rùn, the signature Cantonese restaurant is led by renowned chef Hung Chi-Kwong, winner of the Silver Award in the 2012 Best of the Best Culinary Awards, famed for developing his own unique mastery and contemporary interpretations of the rich gastronomy of Cantonese cuisine and delivering delicate and innovative seasonal dishes. The captivating ambience of The Drawing Roomtransforms throughout the day where guests may enjoy all-day dining including a reimagined Afternoon Tea experience with views of the Terrace. The St. Regis Bar is a contemporary venue for an after-hours digestif with comfortable seating and a warm atmosphere and is set to become an iconic destination in the city’s sophisticated nightlife scene.
