African-based safari operator Machaba Safaris will open Kiri Camp, a luxury tented camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, in June.
With just 10 luxury tents, including two family tents, Kiri Camp is an intimate camp situated on a private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The camp offers a combination of land and water activities to some of the most remote and previously inaccessible areas of the delta. Travelers can enjoy a relaxing meander down the river in a mokoro or a motorboat, enabling them to see wildlife from the river.

For those who prefer doing their wildlife viewing on land, night drives and walking safaris are also available. The Kiri area is renowned for its lion and buffalo interactions and its rare wild dog population. As Kiri Camp is in a private concession, off road and night driving are allowed, as are armed nature walks through the surrounding islands with knowledgeable guides.
Access to Kiri Camp is by charter flights from either Maun or Kasane followed by a 10-minute drive to the camp.
