Regent Seven Seas Cruises is ringing in 2021 by offering free suite upgrades to anyone who books a cruise before the end of February, the company shared with Travel + Leisure.
Travelers who book almost any future cruise before Feb. 28 will receive a complimentary two-category suite upgrade to experience exotic destinations around the world in style from the glaciers of Alaska to the Cu Chi tunnels of Vietnam. However, the promotion does not apply to World Cruises or Grand Voyages.
"Following an unprecedented year, we didn't want to limit travel options for our guests, which is why we decided to make Upgrade Your Horizon our most generous suite upgrade by opening it up to all available ships, voyages and destinations," President and Chief Executive Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Jason Montague, told T+L in a statement. "Regent is renowned for delivering an unrivaled experience with every luxury included, which our guests can now enjoy with heightened in-suite service-levels… in the destination of their choice."
To ease any lingering concerns when booking, Regent Seven Seas has extended its Regent Reassurance cancellation policy on voyages booked by the end of January and scheduled to sail through Oct. 31. The policy allows passengers to cancel for any reason up to 15 days before their scheduled departure and receive a 100% credit to use on a future cruise.
In addition to the cruise line's luxury amenities (think free shore excursions and complimentary open bars), passengers who upgrade to a Concierge Suite will receive a free 1-night hotel stay prior to embarkation.
Regent Seven Seas has currently canceled all sailings through March and some sailings through April, according to the cruise line.
While it's not clear exactly when cruisers will be able to hit the high seas in America once again, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has come up with a 'Conditional Sail' Order for U.S. cruises, including requiring test sailings and new protocols.
