In the winter of 2024-2025, Celebrity Cruises for the first time will base a ship at Port Canaveral, Fla., the world’s busiest cruise port.
In what new president Laura Hodges Bethge said is an attempt to reach a mix of out-of-state and in-state travelers, the line will sail cruises from Port Canaveral on the Celebrity Equinox.
The Equinox will sail seven-night cruises from Nov. 21, 2024, until April 19, 2025, with port calls in the Bahamas, Belize, Grand Cayman and Mexico.
