IHG Hotels & Resorts plans to open the first all-inclusive resort for its upper-upscale Kimpton brand.

Scheduled to open in early 2024 in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen, the Kimpton Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, Spa & Nature Park will be operated by all-inclusive specialist Playa Hotels & Resorts.

The property will be a rebranding of the Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, which opened in November 2008. The resort will undergo an interior renovation and relaunch with 255 rooms, 11 culinary venues, five swimming pools, a spa and fitness center, a kids’ club and 26,200 square feet of meeting and events space.
