Gifted Travel Network (GTN) has partnered with Lucia, a freelancer marketplace designed for the travel industry.

While Lucia is a preferred partner of a number of travel agencies, Lucia CEO Grace McBride said that GTN is the first to purchase access for all of its members.

Lucia connects travel advisors with a vetted group of “co-pilots,” or independent contractors. Advisors post work requests, ranging from itinerary creation to website page creation to helping with flight options.

“We are thrilled to partner with Lucia, whose marketplace will provide our travel advisors the support they need to handle the incredible volume of bookings they are working on,” GTN chief membership officer Sandy Saburn said.

“This partnership is a perfect fit for our company, as we are constantly seeking new ways to amplify the support provided to our advisors.”
