Tourist’s ‘ridiculous’ KFC hack gets best pyramids of Giza view for cheap price

A travel blogger has revealed the surprising trick to get the best view of the iconic Pyramids of Giza in Egypt – for a very cheap price.

Kimmie Conner recently visited the famous site in Cairo and decided to share “the most ridiculous” hack she found to her 61,000 TikTok followers.

She explained in the video that outside the exit to the attraction is a Pizza Hut and KFC.

“If you go in an order some s**** food, walk all the way up to the top. Here’s the view from the roof to the KFC,” Kimmie said, revealing the panoramic view from the roof.

“I’m sure there are other rooftops around but this one is completely empty and you can have it all to yourself just you and your Zinger.

“This is the most ridiculous place to have a KFC but, honestly, just having one burger is a lot cheaper than getting some of the other views or by paying taxis or camels.”

The footage has been seen more than 1.6 million times but, while many were impressed by the trick, others had issue with the location of the fast food giant’s store.

“This is top level travel hack,” one wrote.

But another disagreed, writing: “Seeing an American chain restaurant right in front of this site is so sad, my God.”

A third commented: “Who else feels like big corporations getting real estate in cool places ruins the place a little bit? Why can’t there just be 100% owned Egyptian stuff?”

Local residents weighed in on the debate as well, with one saying: “As an Egyptian I’m really not pressed like you all. We like Pizza Hut and KFC and they’re much better in Egypt than North America.”

Another user said you can visit the same restaurant at night to watch the light show from the roof.
