It was announced today Skate at Somerset House will take place this year. The ice rink was a victim of the pandemic and was nowhere to be found last year.
Last year was the first time in 21 years Somerset House did not have an ice rink.
But this will be remedied this year, as Skate will once again take residence at the central London landmark.
After a year away, Skate is pulling all the stops for 2021.
It now has a new partner in champagne brand Moët & Chandon.

Skate will see the ice rink take centre stage at Somerset House, but there will also be a range of activities around the festivities.
DJ takeovers and winter dining are part of the programme.
Skate Lates will this year be in partnership with UNIQLO.
The first four Saturdays will see a partnership with Disney+ bring morning skate sessions hosted by KISS DJs.
Skate School will return to help Britons who aren’t confident on ice learn a few tricks.
National Ice Skating Association instructors will give pointers to Britons who are new to ice skating.
And there will be Hotel Chocolat’s Chocmobile, as well as chocolate workshops and a pop-up store.
The event’s signature 40feet Christmas tree will be back at the entrance of the ice rink.
Skate is one of the capital’s favourite festive outings.
It is likely to get extremely busy and sessions usually sell out quickly.
Due to Covid, the 2021 event will feature a more open skate area and expanded area to collect and return skates.
Skate will be on from November 17 to January 16 at Somerset House.
Would-be visitors should book tickets in advance.
Tickets will go on sale on September 17.
Prices start at £11 for adults and £8.50 for children.
