Livid parents’ savage note slams ‘sl*gs’ in Ibiza who woke up their baby

A holidaymaker has gone viral after sharing the note slipped to him while away in Ibiza. The harsh letter named him and his fellow travellers "drugged up sl*gs" and "selfish".

While staying on the Spanish island – famous for its wild clubs, all-night raves, DJs and raucous behaviour – the note claimed he woke up someone else’s child. It also slammed him for having no "respect".

A snap of the note was uploaded to Twitter, @bryancheco_, where it racked up 1.9million views. Thousands of people also liked the snap and others commented on the situation.

The poster, Checno, asked, "Who brings a two-year-old to Ibiza?" in response to the furious note.

The letter said: "You are the most selfish people waking up a two-year-old. Nasty, selfish and absolutely no manners or respect. Drugged up sl*gs".

In the comments people were blown away by the letter. One person joked: "At least it’s going to have good music taste."

Others were confused by the situation. Maldito said: "I'm…I'm so confused. Where did you wake them up? Are they in a club? Is it the beach? What is going on."

While others slammed the parents. David commented: "I love how suddenly when you inconvenience new parents you’re selfish. Umm DUHH, I didn’t get knocked up and chained to another human for 18+ years. I’m thinking of MY SELF."

A third person noted: "To be fair the selfish people in this scenario are the people who went to Ibiza despite having a 2 year old…"

But, others argued that it depends on where Checno was staying. They explained that not all of Ibiza is a party town.

Jordan said: "Think it depends on location. If it’s a family hotel away from the party scene. Then it’s fair game to have a bit of a whinge. If it’s a party hotel in San Antonio, then they can’t complain."

Lady Casa added: "North side of the island is all families. Lovely place to take kiddos. Mostly a party island, but not entirely [just saying]."

A Spaniard said: "People have lived in Eivissa for centuries before it got turned into a theme park for booze and drug addicts, and still try to live there."

Adrian Finnie added: "Ibiza is much more than a clubbing island. Stayed in San Antonio and it’s still amazing, the clubbing is a a decent walk from there and never had any problem with people enjoying themselves."

There are a number of family friendly hotels in Ibiza. Playa Bella Apartments in San Antonio Bay has a kids pool, splash pool and outdoor pool and is just steps from the beach. There’s also a kids’ club and mini disco for little ones to enjoy. A week-long stay costs from just £655.68per person based on two sharing with TUI.
