Black Friday is here and the deals are already rolling in with holiday packages and trips away coming in at bargain prices. Lastminute.com is the latest travel company to offer tourists a discount – and you can bag a deal on one of Britain’s favourite hotspots: Majorca.
You can now book a holiday from just £186 per person to the sunny Spanish island which is a pretty decent price for five to seven days of rest and relaxation. Plus, as LastMinute is a package holiday company your flights are included in the cost!
The deals include options from all-inclusive hotel stays just metres from the beach to self-catering villas for the whole family. The cut price deals apply to specific dates and, as the name suggests, they’re mostly last-minute with flights heading out this winter – and you can already book them here.

But, one of the great things about a holiday in Majorca – a Balearic Island in the Mediterranean – is that it’s fairly sunny all year round. The average temperature in August hits 30C but in December it still hovers around a pleasant 16C. Majorca is a great island to explore known for its golden beaches, hidden coves, rugged coastline and beach resorts.
There’s some fab nightlife to explore in the capital, Palma, while historical palaces and cathedrals are perfect for history buffs. Then of course there are the party resorts like Magaluf, although it tends to be a lot quieter during the winter months.
There are also plenty of art galleries, music festivals and beautiful palm-tree lines promenades to enjoy while staying on the island. Plus, you can always stick to your hotel resort and simply enjoy the food, drinks and pool.
The cheapest stay we found on Lastminute.com was at the Hotel Villa Barbara in Santa Margalida – it’s beach has top ratings and the villa includes a double bed, balance with city views and free Wi-Fi. The holiday costs just £186pp for five nights.
Alternatively, if you’re after an all-inclusive stay where you don’t have to think about food or drinks you can bag a deal to BLUESEA Mediodia in El Arenal. You’ll only have to shell out £251pp for a five night stay just 100m from the beach and all your meals and booze are included in the price.
Half-board is also a popular option for those who tend to spend the day outside of the hotel. You’ll get your breakfast and dinner included, but you can get lunch wherever you choose to spend your afternoon.
You can enjoy a five night stay at the Vitasol Apartments in party hotspot Magaluf from £268pp with a half-board basis. Meaning you can head out and enjoy all the beach parties you want without missing out.
