In a blow to holidaymakers, freshly green listed Bulgaria has announced it will ban all Britons from entering from July 19. The rule will apply to all UK arrivals, regardless of vaccination status or whether they can provide a negative COVID-19 test.

From July 19, only Bulgarian residents and citizens will be permitted to enter the country.
