Brit tourist slammed for ‘new low’ after using wheelchair to cut airport queue

A British holidaymaker has been slammed online after faking an injury so he could skip the two-hour airport queue in Turkey.

TikTok user, Wolf Jenkins, 28, @wolfjenko, filmed himself in a wheelchair at the terminal in a viral video that’s racked up well over 1million views.

He captained the clip: “Faked hurting my leg to get through security faster and onto the plane.”

The content creator claims he came up with the scheme to skip the security line because the queue was out of the door and "we knew we would have missed our flight”.

Wolf, a student, was flying home from Bodrum to Bristol, his home town, on June 16, reports news.com.au.

He added: “I’d say around a two-hour wait to get through security and check-in at least.

“The queue outside of the airport, it was insane, I didn’t expect it at all.

“I saw people in wheelchairs being pushed through so my friend waited in the queue and I went outside and took off my shoe and sock

“I then limped back toward the door and a member of staff asked me if I needed assistance so I said I had twisted my ankle at the hotel just before getting into my taxi.”

Wolf added: "I was then ushered through security and to check in immediately and they asked me if I had a fit to fly form, but I said I have only just done it and that I could walk if necessary.

"But they said not to worry about it and let me through.”

In the one-minute clip, Wolf wrote: “Amazing what taking one sock off can achieve.”

He can be seen stripping off his footwear before being ferried through the security checkpoints by airport personnel.

Wolf narrated the journey and said: “Excuse me, so much pain here.”

He even managed to go through a wheel-chair only security queue with his mates while giggling.

At the end, Wolf thanked the staff member.

Apparently, the benefits to faking his injury didn't stop there as airline staff gave him and his friends an entire row of six seats to themselves.

Wolf said: "The staff were the same as who had been on the flight out there so they remembered us and were extremely friendly.”

When he reached Bristol airport, Wolf was filmed putting his sock back on and walking away from the wheelchair while laughing.

In the comments, people were divided over his deceit.

One person wrote: "Work smart not hard" while another added that they would try the trick themselves.

But, others were disapproving with another noting: "This really isn’t funny, there are some of us that really actually need this!"

Another added that Wolf had reached a "new low".
